# Weather Alert Map

> Independent website for worldwide model forecasts and official weather warnings. Forecasts come from Open-Meteo. U.S. warnings come from the National Weather Service. European warnings come from MeteoAlarm when a token is connected. This site does not issue government warnings, dispatch emergency services, or replace official alerts.

Use HTML pages linked below. Forecast coverage and official warning coverage are different: a forecast being available does not mean a warning feed is connected. A quiet map is not an all-clear. Always follow local authorities and the issuing meteorological service.

Units on the site default to Fahrenheit. Official warning text is preserved from the source. Severity labels follow Common Alerting Protocol: Extreme, Severe, Moderate, Minor or Unknown.
