...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Colorado...
Purgatoire River Near Las Animas affecting Bent County.
For the Purgatoire River...including Las Animas...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Purgatoire River near Las Animas.
* WHEN...Until late Friday night.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Minor Flood. Minor agricultural flooding
occurs into low lying areas along the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:15 AM MST Thursday the stage was 9.6 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 9:15 AM MST Thursday was 9.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river will fall to 9.3 feet late this morning. It
will then rise to 10.3 feet late this evening. It will fall below
flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to 2.9 feet Monday afternoon
then rise again.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
